Preparation

The Part Nobody
Photographs.

Budget paint jobs fail in 2–3 years. Not because of the paint — often because of what wasn't done underneath it.

Questions

Common Questions

Yes. Chris manages every project from start to finish. You'll know who's on your home each day — the same painters every day. The same painters, on your home, every day.

Preparation determines how long a paint job lasts. Not the brand. Not the colour. Budget jobs that skip this step typically fail within 2–3 years. Our five-step process covers full assessment, housewash, fixing failed paint, priming bare timber, then topcoat. Master Painters New Zealand awarded us a Gold Award specifically for our workmanship.

Yes. At the end of every working day the site is cleaned, tools are put away, and your property is left as we found it. No loud music, no disruption to your day. We also work around your schedule where we can — if there are days or times that don't suit, let us know at the quote visit. One client put it simply: "Most times we did not know they were there."

Dulux and Resene exterior systems. Product is selected for your home's substrate and aspect — not supplier rebates.

Chris reviews your details and contacts you within one business day to arrange a site visit. He inspects the surfaces, discusses your colour preferences, and explains what preparation your home needs. You receive a detailed, itemised quote — every stage of work described before anything begins.
